One Lake, Solano County
One Lake is a housing community in Fairfield, California that's centered around social gathering spaces and experiences. The goal was to create neighborhoods that authentically reflected the community's true character and best the area has to offer. We conducted extensive research and connected with a range of community members, leaders, organizations, businesses and local government to gain a deep understanding of what made the community special. We created a warm, inclusive brand that captured the family friendly community while highlighting the inclusiveness and opportunities for people in all stages of life.

The developer really wanted the message and the voice to be true to the place. We partnered with the City of Fairfield Economic Development Department to help facilitate community input workshops to ensure that all branding and messaging captured the true spirit of the community.

The intent of this piece was to tell the story of the place. The developer knew that the builders would be able to talk about the homes, and the amenities. But to really sell the home, you have to sell the place. One Lake hired us to tell the Solano County story with words and pictures.
